The quality of the food is both excellent and good value for money and students and staff have commented on the variety of food on offer. Fresh fruit and vegetables are prepared daily. We offer a wide range of warm and cold food to suit all dietary needs.
Our kitchens minimise the use of single-use plastics in the storage, perperation and serving of food.
Drinking water is freely available and students are encouraged to bring in reusable bottles.
Alongside the work we do to reduce single-use plastics across the business, we also recycle our food waste into green energy through ReFood.
Cashless System
The Academy operates a cashless system for paying for Academy meals, using a computerised fingerprint registration scheme.
We use My Child at School (MYCAS) which is an online, cashless payment system for parents. It offers you the freedom to make payments whenever and wherever you like, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – safe in the knowledge that the technology used is of the highest internet security available.
