The Key Stage 3 curriculum at De Lacy Academy introduces students to a number of computer science and digital literacy topics from the national curriculum. We believe that it is equally important that our students be ‘citizens’ as well as ‘creators’ in our increasingly-digital world.

It is the intention that this curriculum will be a spiral curriculum. Whilst new topics will be introduced in future years, a number of topics will be visited again, at a deeper level, or in a different context, i.e., a textual programming language rather than a visual one.
